Al Nahrain University announced the completion of a project to install a modern sprinkler system and an artificial lake on campus. This project is part of its plan to improve the university environment and provide a comfortable learning environment that enhances the campus’s aesthetics and serves students and faculty members.
The project was implemented under the continuous supervision and follow-up of the University President, Professor Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, and with field follow-up by the Administrative Assistant, Professor Dr. Alaa Hussein Abdul. The work stages were closely monitored to ensure the highest levels of technical and service quality.
In this context, Professor Ali Abdulaziz Al-Shawi said: “The sprinkler system and artificial lake project embodies our vision for an integrated university environment that combines beauty and sustainability. Through it, we seek to improve the quality of university life and create an ideal environment for education and scientific research. We will continue to support everything that will develop the university at various levels.”
The sprinkler system stores water and uses it to irrigate green spaces, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere on campus and reducing water waste. Meanwhile, the artificial lake has become an environmental and aesthetic landmark, lending the campus a civilized appearance that enhances the visual identity of the area.
